Kapuso programs dominate nominations for New York Festivals 2012

GMA Network gained a total of 9 nominations for this year's New York Festivals (NYF) TV and Film Awards.

NYF’s World’s Best Television & Films honors programming in all lengths and forms from over 40 countries. Dedicated to both the TV and Film industries, categories mirror today’s global trends and encourage the next generation of story-tellers: News, Sports, Documentary, Reality, Drama, Feature Films, Telenovelas, Webisodes, Promo, Music Videos, Corporate Films, and Animation.

Meanwhile, the Kapamilya network ABS-CBN garnered a total of 5 nominations (finalists) while TV5 got 2.
