Rachel Weisz L'Oreal ad banned in UK

"Bourne Legacy" actress Rachel Weisz ad for L'Oreal has been banned in the United Kingdom, for being "misleadingly exaggerated."

Liberal Democrat MP Jo Swinson complained that the actress' skin has been retouched and "misleadingly exaggerated" the anti-wrinkle and skin boosting effects of the product Revitalift Repair 10.

Swinson has declared war on product ads that she believes make false promises, digitally alter models and mislead consumers.

Yanking these ads and holding big beauty accountable is the first step in stopping the endless pressures to look young and perfect, says Swinson.

Previously, Swinson has also made complaints against a Lancome (which L'Oreal owns) advert featuring Julia Roberts and Maybelline advert featuring supermodel Christy Turlington.
