3 bodyguards of Banco Filipino owner Bobby Aguirre killed

Three security aides of Banco Filipino owner Bobby Aguirre were shot in Las Piñas City on Saturday.

Unidentified men broke into Aguirre's house in Pablo Roman St. Tropical Avenue, BF International, CAA in Las Piñas, at around 11:30 p.m. Police reports said three men, including one active-duty and one retired police officer, all suffered gunshots in the head and died immediately.

The victims were identified as PO3 Luisito Makatunaw, SPO2 Melvin Padapa (retired), and David Mangguerra (security guard).

Police said Mangguera’s body was found sprawled near the gate of the house. Padaca was found bloodied inside the mansion while the body of Macatunao was found inside his barracks.

Aguirre was at the second floor of his house at that time, and was unharmed.

Police are investigating closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, but is still unclear if Aguirre was the main target of the attackers.
