How to disable Facebook Timeline

Some people find Facebook Timeline nifty, but some just don't like it and want their old profile layout back.

Good thing there are ways to revert your Facebook profile to its previous layout.

On Google Chrome

If you're using Google Chrome, just follow these simple steps:

STEP 1: Open your Google Chrome browser.

STEP 2: Click on the wrench icon, located at the top-right corner of the browser.

STEP 3: Select Settings.

STEP 4: On the left pane of the Settings, select Extensions.

STEP 5: Click "more extensions" or "browse the gallery", where Chrome will direct you to their Chrome Web Store.

STEP 6: In the "search the store" box found in the upper-left corner of the site, type in "Remove Timeline", and click on the first, or the second result that came out.

STEP 7: Confirm your action by clicking the "Add" button. The next time you browse your Facebook profile using Chrome, there'd be no Timeline anymore.

STEP 8: Share this to your friends, so they could learn, too!

On Firefox

STEP 1: Open Firefox and click on the orange Firefox button, and choose Add-ons. (Shortcut for this step is Ctrl+Shift+A.)

STEP 2: In the search box found on the top-right corner, do a search for "User Agent Switcher". Click install, then restart Firefox to complete the installation.

STEP 3: After restarting Firefox, click on the User Agent Plugin icon in the navigation bar. If you don't see the icon, right-click the navigation bar, and select Customize... Then choose the icon for the agent switcher you just installed, drag and drop it to your Firefox browser (either on the navigation bar, or beside the address bar).

STEP 4: If the agent switcher icon is now visible in the navigation or address bar, click it, choose Internet Explorer, and select Internet Explorer 7. Now go to your Facebook profile and see the changes.

STEP 5Share this to your friends, so they could learn, too!
