Two suspects in the Robinsons Galleria Mall robbery were arrested in Iloilo province Monday night.
The suspects were identified as Willy Enriquez and Ireneo dela Cruz. It was believed the two took around P2 million in cash from the Security Bank personnel taking money to the Sanry's Money Changer inside the mall, morning of March 29.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Chief Superintendent Mario dela Vega said in yesterday's press conference that the two suspects were being subjected to tactical interrogations in the hopes of capturing four other suspects still at large.
The suspects were arrested at around 8 p.m. during the joint operations of the QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) and the Western Visayas police in Lemery town in Iloilo.
Reports said the suspects were allegedly former tricycle drivers in Parañaque before they ventured into robberies, targeting money deliveries to pawnshops and money changers.
