Thursday is hottest day of the year in NCR at 35.3 degrees

No wonder why you've been complaining and sweating all day because of the scorching heat from the sun -- today's temperature peaked at its hottest with 35.3 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila.

Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) recorded the temperature at around 3 p.m on Thursday, April 12.

PAGASA forecaster Raymond Ordinario said the high temperature is not abnormal, and might also reach 36 degrees as the summer season has actually just started.

Last March 23, PAGASA recorded the highest prior to today's temperature at 34.7 desgrees Celsius.
