YouTube improves audio editing in new interface

Popular video-sharing website YouTube has updated its audio editing feature it offers to users, with improvements including an extended library of more than 150,000 backing tracks.

The site also features the ability to mix music into your video at different volume levels ("soft background", "completely replace"). Featured tracks are also shown so you could find the right background song choice depending on your video's mood.

To try out these new features, go to Video Manager -- Edit -- Enhancements -- Audio. It will be available worldwide over the next day.

YouTube promises more improvements to come in the future.
