The hugely-popular book-turned-into-film-series "Harry Potter" will soon have its theme park in Japan.

With the film series a huge blockbuster in Japan, combined with costume-clad fans crowding each bookstores everytime a translation of a new novel was released, Japanese fans will soon be exploring Harry Potter's magical world with "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" theme park to open in 2014. It will be a half-billion dollar investment and will be constructed by expanding Universal Studios Japan is Osaka.
At the official announcement, Weasley twins James and Oliver Phelps were greeted by dozens of Potter-dressed fans.
Brad Globe of Warner Brothers, the studio behind the movie franchise, said that the Universal Studios Japan expansion was a boon for Harry buffs. "Harry Potter continues to captivate generations of fans around the world and we are delighted to announce this partnership... that will allow us to bring the magic of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter to Asia."
