Malacañang on Sunday said June 11 is likely to be a regular working day. Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said that there appears to be no declaration of June 11 becoming a nonworking day.
June 12 (Tuesday), will still be the day of the celebration of the 114th Philippine Independence.
"On June 12, the celebration will remain," said Valte on government-run dzRB radio.
President Benigno Aquino III had signed Proclamation No. 295, which lists June 12 as a holiday to commemorate the Independence Day.
