Philippines vs Macau FIBA Asia 2012 (full video replay)

FINAL SCORE

PHI 98 - 46 MAC

The Philippine national basketball team Smart Gilas Pilipinas faced Macau on September 17, Monday, for the preliminary rounds of the fourth FIBA Asia Cup in Tokyo, Japan, winning a great margin, 98-46.

The game was held at the Ota Gymnasium and was broadcast on AKTV at 11:30 a.m.

Yesterday, during the team's game against Uzbekistan, the Gilas went victorious with a massive 35-point lead, defeating slow Uzbek players, 85-50. This makes the win-loss standing of Gilas to 3-1.

The Philippine team clearly makes the top four in its group, qualifying for the knockout stage of the 10-nation event, originally named Stankovic Cup. Last year, the Philippine team placed fourth overall.
