The last day for voters' registration for the 2013 elections will be on October 31, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) noted.
In line with this, the commission urged for qualified Filipinos aged 18 and above to exercise their right to vote by registering before the said deadline.
"Bad officials are elected by people who don't vote. Kaya importante na kayo ay bumoto," said Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez.
According to Comelec's website, the registration started in Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) last March 5, 2012; May 3, 2011 in other parts of the country; and October 31, 2011 for overseas Filipinos.
Those who want to register must fill-up the application form and personally submit it to the election officer in their respective city of municipality office.
An applicant will be officially registered once the Election Registration Board (ERB) approves his application.
