YouTube sensation and Filipino-American JR Aquino impressed the panel of judges as he rocked "The Voice" Season 3 blind auditions on Monday.
The 24-year-old performed Bruno Mars' "Just The Way You Are," and was instantly liked by judges Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine, making them turn around for him.
"You sound a lot like Bruno," said the Maroon 5 front man. "I think it's a perfect fit my friend. I would love to have you on my team for sure, 100 percent."
Before his performance ended, judge Cee Lo Green also turned around for the Anchorage, Alaska-raised singer. And although Cee Lo was the last judge to do so, JR still picked him as his mentor.
Cee Lo was also the mentor of another Fil-Am, Cheesa Laureta, who auditioned for the singing competition last season.
JR popularized "By Chance (You and I)" which has over 5.5 million views to date.
