Three members of the Pacquiao clan will seek for a position next year as they filed their certificates of candidacy (COC) for the 2013 midterm elections.
Filipino boxing pride Manny Pacquiao will run again as a representative of Saranggani's lone district, while his wife Jinkee is running for Vice Governor of the province.
Jinkee, who never had previously expressed interest in running for public office, said she decided to run for vice governor to help her husband carry out his public service tasks in the province.
Pacquiao's younger brother Roel filed his COC Thursday and will run for a House of Representatives seat in Koronadal City, South Cotabato's 1st District.
The boxing champ ran in 2007 in the same District but lost to Darlene Antonino-Custodio, now mayor of General Santos City.
Pacquiao is backed by Vice President Jejomar Binay and former President Joseph Estrada's United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).
