"StarStruck" Season 1's First Princess Yasmien Kurdi has given birth to a baby girl last November 22 via caesarean operation, an article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) said.
Yasmien also married her boyfriend of six years, flight attendant Rey Soldevilla, Jr., last January 25, 2012.
Her mom Miriam, however, was reportedly against her daughter's relationship because of religion. Yasmien's family is an active member of Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) while her husband is a Catholic.
But Yasmien, who is known as "Charming" in GMA-7's primetime drama series "Bakekang," still pursued with her relationship and married her husband January 25 last year in a simple wedding ceremony. She said her Lebanese dad signed on her wedding papers.
Yasmien also said that up to now, she still has no communication with her mom, whom she "loves so much."
Yasmien named her baby Ayesha Zara, which in Hindu means "bright flower."
She also plans her co-StarStruck finalists Mark Herras, Jennylyn Mercado, and Sheena Halili to be the godparents of her daughter. She also revealed she will finish her studies in New Era University where she's currently on third year taking Nursing.
