Kapuso actor Aljur Abrenica was robbed of nearly P600,000 in cash and valuables in his Quezon City home while he and his family were away for the Holy Week vacation.
A report from Inquirer said the house of the 23-year-old actor in Scout Fernandez Street in Brgy. Sacred Heart was ransacked of close P600,000 worth of cash, jewelry, laptops, and cellphones. His family returned early Saturday from a trip.
Aljur told police investigators they had locked up their home unattended at around 5 p.m. of March 27 (Holy Wednesday) for a vacation. When they returned on Black Saturday, they found out the main door had been forced open as intruders went to their second floor rooms to take valuables.
The report said the actor was stolen P150,000 cash, P250,000 worth of jewelry, and P135,000 worth of high-end laptops and cellphones.
The report also said thieves also burglarized two shops, including a remittance center and a beauty products store of nearly P200,000 cash.
