Thai superstar Mario Maurer allegedly escaped from his movie shooting just to see comedienne Cacai Bautista during the latter's visit to Thailand.
"The Buzz" host Boy Abunda on his show last Sunday said sources told him Mario got disappointed when invited by Cacai for a dinner, not because he did not want to, but because he learned it won't be just the two of them.
"Ang unang dumating daw 'yung manager ni Mario. The manager was the one who first arrived tapos si Mario daw ay dumating. According to my sources, si Mario was a bit disappointed dahil akala niya sila lang ni Cacai ang magkasama. 'Yun pala nandoon ang kanyang mga kaibigan at kanyang manager," Tito Boy shared, as posted in ABS-CBN News.
Mario allegedly came to their meetup place in motorcycle and sweating because of the heavy traffic.
Tito Boy's sources said Mario fell in love with Cacai's beauty and personality.
Cacai on Twitter earlier denied any romantic involvement with the actor, and said if there's someone who should talk about it first, it should be Mario.
Mario and Cacai knew each other during the set of Star Cinema's movie last year "Suddenly It's Magic," where Mario was paired with Kapamilya star Erich Gonzales.
