Social question-and-answer website Formspring will be closing its doors come March 31, it announced on its blog.
The blog post, created by Formspring founder and CEO Ade Olonoh, said "it's been challenging to sustain the resources needed to keep the lights on."
He said March 31st will be the last day users will be able to ask questions or post content on the site, however, they will be able to export responses from now through Monday, April 15th, after which the site and apps will go offline, and any content will be permanently deleted.
After clicking the export button, an email notification will be sent. You will be asked again to visit the export page where you will download a zip file with your data.
Launched in 2009, Formspring allows users o relate their ideas and opinions on any topic by asking users and responding to questions from other users.
