Allan Soriano only wanted to make people laugh, but little did he know that netizens would last out at him for his prank calling video.
The video became viral in less than 24 hours after a Facebook page "Master, Wendell" uploaded it on Saturday. As of this posting, it has already been shared more than 38,000 times.
Soriano, who was dubbed as "baklang baboy," is seen in the video calling several local delivery and service lines and making fun of his conversation with the customer service representatives by asking weird, annoying, and insulting stuff. While some netizens thought the video was funny, most of them were still infuriated by what the guy did.
A day after the video went viral, a YouTube video was uploaded, showing an emotional Soriano saying sorry to those he offended. He also apologized to his school, St. Paul College - Parañaque.
"Mali po ako. Nagkamali po ako and I'm really sorry," he said. "Hindi ko inisip kung ano 'yung ginagawa ko dahil... Ang iniisip ko lang.. Magpatawa. Basta nakakatawa ako."
"Sana po matigil na 'to. Sana po wala na pong ibang madamay na tao. Thank you po," he said as he ended his apology video.
