Paula Jamie Salvosa have fully recovered from the cyberbullying directed at her last year, after a video of her berating a lady guard at an LRT station went viral.
Paula eventually got the label "Amalayer" for repeatedly saying "I'm a liar?" at the lady guard. The term also became a buzzword among Pinoy netizens.
A TV interview titled "Amalayer: The Untold Story" revealed a calm Paula saying "I was Amalayer, but now, I am a Princess of God." The interview video was uploaded by 700 Club Asia on YouTube.
Paula revealed how at one point in her life she wanted to change her name because of the insults and threats she received online.
Sabi ko, 'I just don't want my name anymore,'" she said.
Paula said she received comfort from members of the Grace Testament Church who sent her encouraging messages on Twitter. She went to the church and felt their warm welcome and love. Since then, she has been attending the group's weekly religious service.
She also said she was "baptized" as a member of the Grace Testament Church last March 3 and has learned to forgive herself over the incident.
She also thanked the lady guard, Sharon Mae Casinas, and the original uploader of the video, for without them, she "wouldn't have this kind of relationship with God."
"'Yung old Paula, tinulungan niyong mawala. Parang now, the Paula right now na nagsasalita sa harapan niyo, lives in Christ," she said.
