Blackwater dugout ransacked by thieves inside the Ateneo campus

It wasn't a happy affair at all after a win for Blackwater Elite last Tuesday.

After winning against EA Regen Med 71-67 in a PBA D-League Foundation Cup game held inside the Ateneo Campus, members of the Blackwater Sports team led by their coach Leo Isaac were stunned when they returned to their dugout finding out most of their belongings have been ransacked by thieves.

An initial investigation reported that the players had lost their mobile phones and gadgets, while some players even lost their change of clothes.

Victims of the incident were Allan Mangahas, Louie Vigil, Paolo Pe, Eric Suguitan, Robby Celiz, Kevin Ferrer, Gio Ciriacruz, Pari Llagas, and two former Ateneo Blue Eagles in Justin Chua and Bacon Austria.

According to PBA officials, this was not the first time it happened inside the Ateneo campus, there was already an incident that a pro team's dugout was ransacked by thieves in a pre-season game.
