Star Cinema and Viva Films' latest offering "It Takes A Man and A Woman" dominated the box-office from March 27-31, accumulating a total of P60.98 million sales, data from Box Office Mojo revealed.
The flick, which is the third installment of "A Very Special Love" series and starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, started rolling in theaters on March 30, Saturday. This means the week-long figure of Box Office Mojo just showed the two-day gross of the highly anticipated film.
Reports say it has already reached the P100 million mark, making it one of the fastest-grossing film in Philippine history.
Sci-fi action film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" came in at second with P48.5 million. It is also the film's first week of showing in the country, with most screenings on 3D theaters.
Animated film "The Croods" was good in third place with P13.08 million, gathering a total of P45.02 million for its second week of showing.
"Jack the Giant Slayer" still remains the highest-grossing movie of the year so far with P126.61 million.
