Men deported from Saudi for being 'too handsome'

Three men have reportedly been deported from Saudi Arabia for being too handsome.

Reports said the men were visiting Saudi Arabia from the United Arab Emirates to attend a cultural festival in Riyadh, capital of the Arab nation.

The men were apparently minding their business when the Saudi Mutaween ("religious police") stormed their booth and carried them off.

Arab news sites said the men were considered "too handsome" to stay for fear that women would find them irresistible. Arabic-language newspaper Eloph said the festival's management took urgent measures to deport the three to Abu Dhabi.

After the incident, the U.A.E. released an official statement indicating that the religious police may have been on high alert because of the unplanned presence of an unnamed female artist, Telegraph reported. It was not clear however whether the men were evicted in relation to that incident.

On Thursday, photos of Omar Borkan Al Gala (pictured below), an actor and photographer from Dubai, who was one of the three men reportedly deported, came out.
