A seven-year-old boy was forced to drive a car to take a drunk man home at around 3 a.m. in Australia's Gold Coast.
In a report by AFP, the drunk man pulled over a car and found the boy to drive him home. A patrol car stopped the vehicle which had no headlights and found out the boy at the wheel.
"A man has been charged with serious traffic offences after police intercepted a car allegedly being driven by a seven-year-old boy at Surfers Paradise in the early hours of this morning," police said.
The man was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and being an adult in charge under the influence of alcohol.
The boy, who was said to have been stunned, is now in the care of his relatives.
An official said however it was lucky no one was hurt in the incident, saying children at that age don't have the mental or physical capabilities to drive a car safely.
