GMA Films and Regal Films' "My Lady Boss" lagged behind foreign movies on its pilot week, grossing only P13.9 million at the box-office.
Third party tabulator Box Office Mojo revealed for July 3-7, the Marian Rivera and Richard Gutierrez starrer accumulated P13,904,686 in 80 theaters nationwide.
Illumination Entertainment's "Despicable Me 2" dominated the cinemas that week, raking a total of P125,645,763 and was shown in 192 theaters.
Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx's action film "White House Down" came in second place with P33,762,030. Brad Pitt's "World War Z" was still good enough in third with P19,076,565, totaling almost P200 million on its three-week run.
Disney's "Iron Man 3" is still the highest-grossing film of the year with over P625 million, followed by Star Cinema's most successful film to date, "It Takes A Man and A Woman" with over P375 million.
