Filipino businessmen are among the world's "most optimistic," according to a report by an accounting and consulting services network.
Grant Thorton said in a report that some 90 percent of businesses in the Philippines indicate economic optimism, indicating it is more than thrice the global average.
The Philippines shared the same spot with United Arab Emirates.
Neighboring countries Indonesia and Vietnam got 78 percent and 40 percent optimism, respectively.
The firm's International Business Report also revealed countries at the bottom of the list, namely, Thailand (-20 percent), Spain (-9 percent), Taiwan (-6 percent), and Argentina and Italy (both -4 percent).
