An unidentified man, whose body was placed inside a trash bag and wrapped in a packing tape like a mummy, was found along the national highway in Barangay Balud, San Fernando, southern Cebu around 4 a.m. on Monday, May 30.
The body had a handwritten note on it which say "Tulisan Ko! DU30 (I am a robber! DU30)."
Town police chief Richard Gadingan believed the victim was choked to death because a rope was tied on his neck. A piece of cloth was also placed in his mouth.
When they removed the packing tape, they found out the victim was male, between 40 and 50 years old, but has a long hair, and was wearing a bra, an olive green blouse, and black pants.
Gadingan said the victim was possibly killed in other place. He also doubts the victim is a robber.
