A passenger of mobile e-haling application Grab narrated her experience with the driver who threatened and cursed her after asking for a change for P1,000 bill.
Grab user Angel Ramos posted on Facebook how she got traumatized after riding with Grab driver Regino Taacan Jr.
After the car picked her from Twin Oaks Place in Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City, she told Taacan she left one of her wallets and needed to cancel the ride.
Taacan then told her to cancel the transaction herself but Ramos, after noticing the driver went "bad trip," told him to go on.
When Ramos was nearing her destination in Smart Tower in Makati, she asked if Taacan had a change for a P1,000 bill, which then started the commotion.
"Dapat kasi nag nagdadala kayo ng barya! Hindi kami taxi, "car" kami!" as Taacan started to raise his voice.
"Kuya nakalimutan ko nga po (referring to one of her wallets left). Dapat may barya kayo," Ramos explained.
Taacan then told Ramos, "Wag mo akong sinasagot, bumabaril ako" and even said he is a policeman. "Di mo ako kilala, police ako. May pinag-aralan ako, may pinag-aralan ka ba?"
"May pinag aralan ako kuya. Wag mo 'ko ginaganyan," Ramos responded. The driver then started to curse her.
Scared, Ramos then decided to get off the car even if she has not reached her destination yet.
Her post has since been shared over 13,500 times.
In a separate post, Ramos said Grab has already suspended the driver and thanked those who expressed concerns.
